Image of the week

A little late for this one as things were busy on the new website last week, so there may be two images this week, we will see how it goes.

This picture titled ” Feeding Frenzy ”  maybe illustrates the first signs of spring on Islay with the fields being ploughed ready for grass to be planted for a silage cut in mid August.

EXIF for this is 1/160th @ F13 250 ASA   105mm

Islay Studios Website

Many of you may have wondered where the Islay Studios website has been for the last three months.

Well it has been re worked with an easier to navigate interface with direct links to the blogs, Facebook and YouTube pages and is now fully e commerced.

You will know that designing and producing websites isn’t my baby so this work has been going on in the background  by Gwen Barlow of Mirage Media based in Bowmore on the island.

The site is due to go live on Thursday, apparently all the e commerce security has passed it’s tests so you can buy in confidence.

Of course there are some new images (and some old favourites) on the site and more will be added in due course, hopefully you will find the wait was worthwhile.

The website address remains the same so why not book mark it now for quick reference.
